            JSC RBSSKALS performed the functions of the project general contractor and carried out restoration and reconstruction management for the project at 7 Kr. Valdemara Street, Riga, which is considered to be an architectural monument of local importance and is located in the historical centre of Riga, in the territory of the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage. Various original elements of the building erected during the period of eclecticism, which were preserved – fireplaces, walls and ceiling panels, doors, window locks and façade elements, were quantitatively and professionally restored, emphasizing the architectonic value of the building.          The building contractor Ltd. RBSSKALS Būvsabiedrība has fully reconstructed the 3rd floor of Ventspils MRC station for a short time period. The following operations were performed for the project: dismounting, building of module floors, plasterboard partitions and acoustic walls, wall treatment, electrical installations, installation of glass PVC partition walls, replacement of water supply and sewer systems, installation of glass and aluminium showcases (with thermal insulation). Despite the fact that there was a rather short period for execution of the order – 2 months, including ordering and producing of materials and structures, all the work was performed at the excellent quality level and within the time-limits as agreed before.

International acknowledgement of Drupu Māja

The great prize for the architecture of Latvia was awarded in 2005 for the summer house in Saka Parish, Pavilosta County. Architects: Uldis Lukševics, Mārtiņš Ošāns,  f.l.tadao & lukševics. Customer: Andris Vītoliņš. Construction company: RBSSKALS. Drupu Māja designed by NRJA participated in the popular architecture portal ArchDaily competition for the building of the year, reaching the final round and becoming a winner in its category, with thousands of votes supported it.  The Chilean-origin portal ArchDaily is presently the most visited architecture site in the world.

Prize "Cemex" 2006

"The ceremony of awarding CEMEX Building Awards traditionally takes place in the Mexican city of Monterey. The prize is awarded as an acknowledgment of the quality of the construction projects and the highest creative achievements. RBSSKALS presented for the contest its projects: holiday cottage settlement Mākoņu Brīvdienas and the Olympic Sports Centre. In 2006 candidates from the Baltic States were awarded the prize for the first time. The task of the contest commission was to invite three projects of each category of appropriate state to participate in the contest, for, in general, nine projects to participate in the contest, of which three will be selected – one for each category. The selection was based on the international awarding criteria and the individual presentation of the projects, including photos, architectural sketches and technical plans. The contest bylaws provided for the participation of the projects for which Cemex construction materials were used.
